Be Authentic and Shine is the first in a series for Bounce Back and Be Brilliant interviews.
Woke up feeling what's the point.
Totally negative about my dreams and goals. An inner voice said just tidy your desk. So I sat and organised paperwork and did some filing.
Nothing earth shattering, but moment by moment, I started to feel lighter.
And then I uncovered this quote that I had jotted down years ago. What a wonderful reminder that dreams need actions to become a reality.
This morning's actions were minor and might seem insignificant, but for me, they were brush strokes. Brush strokes that added colour and detail to my dream. Actions that pushed out negativity and opened the space for light to bring hope and possibilities.
If you're feeling that you can't do all you need to do, just do something simple.
One small step can make a huge difference.
Success does not happen in one day. Lasting success develops daily through consistent actions. Van Gogh paintings were not completed in a day. He had a dream and then painted his dream one stroke at a time.
Tidying my desk led to finding this quote which led led to writing it down which led me to write this post.
If you're feeling what's the point - commit to doing one small action and see where it leads.
This blog is called Bounce Back and Be Brilliant because I believe that, no matter what happens in life, we can recover and excel. So, embrace who you are; cherish where you've been and surf towards your dream.
